Scope of Work

The Historic Crest Theater located at 1262 Westwood Boulevard will be fully renovated from a 440 seat movie house to a 299 seat live production theater. The work shall include repair and restoration of selected historic architectural details, including a +/- 225′ cyclorama mural and a neon lit marquee at the front of the building. Interior work includes renovation of the auditorium, including new seating and theatrical production systems, a light grid and speaker sound system; expansion of lobby and event spaces for pre- and post-performance events, updated concessions and guest service facilities, backstage green room with artist support spaces; a fully refurbished second level with new bathrooms, lounge and balcony; a new elevator, new electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems, new AV and IT integrated systems, new flooring and finishes  throughout. Exterior work includes the renewal of the street level exterior to improve public engagement, restoration of existing marquee, blade sign, and façade; and a new roof and new exterior safety lighting.

An additional optional job walk has been schedule for Friday, July 30th, from 9-10AM at the jobsite.

In the event of a conflict between or among any of the project bid documents, subcontractor/supplier’s bid or proposal shall be deemed to include the more stringent requirement. Subcontractor/supplier further agrees that it is its responsibility to verify with the awarding authority the existence of all project bid documents, and that subcontractor/supplier shall not rely solely on the accuracy of the contents of the AMG & Associates Bid Center or Project tabs. It is understood and agreed by subcontractor/supplier that AMG& Associates, Inc., may, at its discretion, require 100% payment and performance bonds from subcontractor/supplier, and that the requirements for such bonds are outlined in the standard subcontract agreement.
